The Stables at Henham Park

Nature Trails
There are various walks on the estate. Henham Park management encourages the public to enjoy the Park by opening walks at certain times of the year. These walks begin at Wangford Lodge and proceed along the Chestnut Drive before venturing into the ancient Tuttles Wood. On the park itself the Old Stables block can be seen as well as the remnants of the Old Hall and one of the largest walled gardens in England.
The wildlife to be seen on the walk includes marsh harriers, muntjac, fallow deer (over 15 of which are pure white), barn owls and egyptian geese among others.

Details:
Location: Off the A12 near Wangford
2009 Open days:
01/02/09 to the 31/03/09

Please note a donation of £3 per person is requested in order to continue the restoration of the Park and maintain its status as a premier wildlife center.
